Scribblenauts

Any of you guys get it? Spent an hour with it and its pretty damn rad. Hell, spent a good amount of time just dicking around on the title screen and I don't think theres any other game I've done that with.

So far its pretty simple, but thats okay. Its still fun and works great in bite-sized chunks, but I hope the later worlds get more ambitious.

Yup, I picked it up and played it for a couple hours. It's great fun. I think I've played puzzles in the first 4 worlds I think. It's all good fun. The puzzle ones are pretty easy though.

Pretty cool. I would kill for direct controls for the character though. I'm sick of accidentally knocking **** over all the time.

Best pick up and play for 10 minutes game I've ever owned!

(And by 10 minutes, I mean an hour because this game is so damn addicting).

This has gotta be the most innovative game released this year.

But not having direct control sucks. I've been right beside a starite (or whatever) at the edge of the screen, but unable to make that one step to grab it...and I tapped every single spot on the level towards where I wanted to go (from top to bottom). Frustrating, but it just means I have to tackle the level in a completely different way.

Other than this, this game is amazing. It's the ultimate puzzle game. And does everyone else find the action stages a lot harder than the puzzle stages? (I know it's cuz you get a hint that's straight forward on how to complete the stage for puzzle levels)

I also find it disappointing that a lot of the objects just kind of stand around stupidly, or don't have functionally unique behaviors from other things. Like they either stand around and stare at each other or run around killing everything. More complex or interesting behaviors are really needed.

It's a great idea that only lives up to about half of its potential.

The fact it even lives up half it's potential is amazing.

That's probably a fair statement. Room to grow for a sequel.

There's a ton of awesome little details in here. Like how if you summon a pot of gold and then a leprechaun, he'll defend the gold to the death. Or like how the dragon will attack everything except a princess.

Also, it seems that God always defeats Chuthulu.

Create a dingo and then create a baby.

Those little details are fun, but unfortunately have no interesting implications as far as actually solving puzzles.

I do that to. At the title screen, I push the camera all the way over to the right, and start fights.

I thought I figured out a way to kill god by turning him to stone with Medusa then having a dragon or dinosaur or something get him from behind, but God's cheap cuz if you attack God, you take damage.

Holy **** - BLOB beats 'em all .

Even God.

First I put the blob against a cyborg, and it smoked it in like two hits. Then I tried a hydra...again smoked 'em. So I tried God, and he killed God. ****in God, dead.

I tried a God and Cthulu tag-team against the blob in the middle.....smoked 'em both.

The blob is the toughest thing in this game.....too bad this game couldn't be patched cuz that's bullshit.
