I realized that I have enough money to spare to buy a DS Lite. I have a PSP already, but I like a lot of the DS games that are coming out. Would I be able to get a used, black DS Lite at EBGames, perhaps?

Yes. The two castlevania games available make it worth the purchase alone. Don't buy used, get it new. I doubt you'd be able to find one used if you wanted to though.

Alright. I was prepared to buy a new one anyways. I think I will get a white one, though. Seeing as it will match my Wii

Don't hesitate. Just go out and get it. The Lite is worth it on every level.

I've always wanted a black one, but the white is definitely more sleek in its appearance.

Wii - Wario Land: Shake It!

Plus the DS an amazing platform that still has the potential to be he best gaming device out there.

We used to say, "let's play Atari," "Nintendo," or "Sega."
We don't play Microsoft and Sony. The Apocalypse!

If you're into Nintendo style games and some of 3rd party games like (like a Mega Man, Castlevania, etc.), I'd say yes. If you aren't, then I recommend passing it up. The DS has been okay for me (I'm more into PSP), but I mostly use mine to play GBA games (Since I'm not really much of a Nintendo fan and I haven't enjoyed many of the games others did too much).

I don't have a DS Lite though, only a regular DS (I'll get a Lite once I start playing my DS more, to justify a purchase). That's just my opinion though. Do I regret buying a DS? Not really, but it has somewhat disappointed me personally (this is coming from a big GBA supporter too).

Mana's position will change when FFT A2, FFXII RW, and DQIX come out.

I just bought a used one personally, works great, I don't see a reason not to save some cash on a used one so long as the difference is good enough to justify it. If you have to pay over 100 for a used one, just buy a new one. So far I've gotten Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Meteos (what I really wanted the DS for, <3 puzzlers), Polarium (<3 puzzlers), and Hotel Dusk - Room 215 (very intriguing thus far, throw back to older adventure games, and the visual style is just awesome).

Lookin' to pick up Final Fantasy 3, Megaman ZX, Mario Kart DS of course, Super Mario 64 DS, and a slew of other games in the "suggest DS" games thread. But yeah, DS is very worth it IMO, I was just waiting to find a good deal really and it smacked me in the head when I was lookin' at Craigslist one day (80 bucks for a DS Lite). The screen's a little scuffed up, but that's gonna happen, its only noticeable when the DS is off (it's the same kind of scratches I get on my PDA, no big deal, but I am thinking of getting a screen protector).

I only see FFT A2 helping (since FFTA is one of my favorite GBA games). I'm no longer the big Square Enix fan I use to be. I've been more so a Namco Bandai person, no joke. I thought FFIII, Children of Mana, and Magical Starsign would change my position, but I ended up not liking any of them at all (badly wanted to also).

A bit surprised on FFIII. I liked that one a lot.

There is Tales of the Tempest, you know.

Don't bother. The former gets old quick, even with online play. No replay value. The latter just sucks balls on the DS.

The DS is a great platform, and it compliments a PSP perfectly.

Both are the same in terms of games worth playing - they just have different strengths & weaknesses.

Right now is a good time to get one cuz there's a ton of good games to get. Same goes for PSP.

My Video Game Collection (is better than yours)

Well, the game is a little too old for me, since I didn't get into RPGs until FFIV. I wasn't a fan of FFI and II either (any version).
