Agh Tetris DS match service

So, recently I've been playing a lot of Tetris DS online and have enjoyed it thoroughly. However, within the past few days it seems any time I play I'm getting matched up against players with 7000+ ratings. Now, I'm a pretty decent player (ranking was around 5800 for a long time) but this is just ridiculous that I'm consistantly matced up against awesome players and getting my ass handed to me.

My ranking now is somewhere around 4700..but I could care less about that. All I want to do is play competitive games where I actually have a chance to win and improve my play. These games where I'm playing Tetris 'gods' and lose within 45 seconds aren't any fun for me and I'm not learning anything.

So, anyone up for some Tetris? And, have you had similar problems with finding competitive opponents to play?

Geez..is this game not popular around here? Does anyone play?
