Not big news or anything, but still pretty cool.

This is the only useful device to get a web browser. Consoles are stupid because if you are around a console just use a computer. Plus M/K on a console is stupid as well.

DS has a touchpad, and a means to navigate = the only useful video game machine to get a browser.

Mirthy cares!

And yeah, I agree with you Jeff. The touch screen should be pretty useful as a keyboard.

Whats cool is, now I can carry around my DS and check **** on the go instead of a laptop

If only DS had a hard drive to store its games on...

Well, actually... Mini SD cards go up to 4gb now, I think, but 2gb holds a lot.
The miniSD converter from the M3 adapter people is the size of a GBA cart and you can flash your DS Lite so it doesn't need that dopey-ass passkey thing on it. I'm going that route probably. I just don't know how to transfer DS roms and saves from the carts, only GBA games.

We used to say, "let's play Atari," "Nintendo," or "Sega."
We don't play Microsoft and Sony. The Apocalypse!

I'm in the UK too, I'll be importing my DS Lite from the US, I don't think there is any point in waiting only to end up paying more. The things are only £70

At least, it would be without postage, still, I'm an impatient guy

What are the DS lites gonna be more expensive than the current DS??
And any idea on when they get released over here??

I actually have no idea how much the DS's are here in the UK, all my DS stuff is imported and I don't believe the Lite has a Euro release date yet, some are guessing June 30th to launch along with Mario but even that isn't a confirmed date.

As I say, I'm just impatient and I really don't like the European cases

I don't see the point of this. If you're around an area that has wifi there's like to be computers nearby too. I thought online gaming on the go was dumb but this is abit much.

Currently Playing ->

Animal Crossing, Phantasy Star Universe, Theme Park

Um...not every coffee place has computers. IE Starbucks.

I can seriously tell that you do not know what you are talking about hun. When my dad was driving across the state with me, I had brought my laptop, and their were access points like, everywhere with stores (some that needed a pass and some that didn't). Of course I can't go to Joe-Schmo's haircut place and use his personal computer that happens to be connected to the internet via a wireless G router, but if I'm nearby there, or the hundreds of other places that have it, I can go on my DS and browse the web.

Playing DS online at airports is kickass when you have to wait 6 hours for your next flight.

People will be briefly amuzed by the ability to post on modojo with their NDS units!
