Batman Begins - A truly brilliant superhero movie. Brilliant cast. Nolan is in command and takes Batman to new heights.

The Dark Knight - One of the greatest sequels ever made. Improves on Begins and introduces one of the best comic book villain portrayals of all time. Ledger's Joker surpasses Nicholson and brings a new dimension and level of insanity to the icon nemesis.

Batman Dead End - Fantastic short film. Batman VS. Alien VS. Predator? Need I say more.

Had a triple feature, a 24 pack and three blunts.

Star Trek- my second time seeing it. What really stands out is the excellent casting and script. Everyone from the leads to the cameos did a great job, exactly the opposite of a POS like (my favorite victim) the Hulk reboot. Pacing was great. The BR transfer was very good, not up there with the true live action greats like Domino or PotC or the Host, but still very good.

Watchmen Ultimate Edition- can you believe this is only my second time watching Watchmen? I saw it in the theaters once, I think, and I was waiting for this edition. It is definitely superior to the theatrical version; the extra material adds background. It is also definitely inferior (still) to the graphic novel even with the additions. I still have issues with the change in the ending, as well as the lack of background between Ozymandias and the Comedian. Overall an excellent comic book conversion, however.

They pray four times a day, they pray five
Who's ways is strange when it's time to survive?
Some will go of they own free will to die,
Others take them with you when they blow sky high.
What's the difference? All you get is lost children
While the bosses sit up behind the desk it costs billions
To blast humans in half, into caps and arms
Only one side is allowed to have bombs.

Casino Blu, 9.5/10

First time seeing it and goddamn it was awesome. Fast movie that hits the ground running and doesn't let up. I've never seen such a quick 3 hour movie. <3 Marty

Star Trek - very fun movie. never gets too serious, great casting, and i loved all the fan service. can't wait to see what they do with the series from here.

Role Models - started off on the slow side, but definitely gets better in the 2nd half. enjoyed it a lot more than I Love You, Man.

Outside Providence, 7.5/10
Not bad, surprised to see this was made in 99, it really got the feel of the 70s down.

Say Anything, 7/10
Couldn't get into it all that much, came together at the end. It's no High Fidelity that's for sure.

I think Say Anything is a classic. Right up there with Fidelity.

Watched Monster Squad on Blu-Ray. Never gets old. "Wolfman's got nards!"

"We can't keep playing until you let go of the pickle!" "That's what your mother said last night!"- Celebrity Jeopardy 2009, baby!
