This is a two part CG miniseries

The first episode is apparently all about a group of Zeon soldiers in charge of a special space railgun (that's the best way I could describe it) at the battle of Loum, the largest space battle in the One Year War.

So far, I like the whole WW2 big naval battle feeling with all the space battleships exchanging fire. Very much too my tastes. :)

The site has really cool CG pictures of the ships, characters, mecha and places in the series. Both the series and the site are a must-see for Gundam fans that love the UC timeline series.

I'm not sure what episode 2 is about yet, but after looking at some of the character and mecha pictures, I'm thinking a Zeon squad involved in the earth invasion.

I was reading a Newtype article a while ago, and I thought they said that MS IGLOO was already released...? Or is Newtype USA just a translation and copy (almost) of the Japanese one? I thought it was an actual US magazine, so it would tell you all about upcoming series in the US, but it also has a bunch of the Japanese TV listing type things...I dunno..

Anyway, I will definately check this out. When is episode 2 due?

Both episodes are already out, 2 just needs to be subbed.

I have heard nothing about a US DVD release at the official US Gundam forums, so... I don't know.

gg fansubs has picked up this series too now, and unlike Cellphone ^2, they've subbed episode 2 and are expected to sub all 3 episodes.

Just watched episode 2 today and loved it. Can't wait to see the last one.

I only saw the one by Cellphone a long while ago. It seemed pretty interesting. I am glad that this has finally been picked up again. Hopefully it will be finished this time.
